Every now and then I like to fool around composing instrumental music
(you really don't want to hear my vocals!).
Essentially, these are demos, documenting the major concepts rather
than full-fledged compositions.
I simply lack the patience to even try perfecting them
in terms of samples, sound, or mixing quality!

Originally recorded in 1972 on my cousin's 4-track audio recorder. Rerecorded in 2014. Inspired by Greenpeace's work to save marine life, in particular whales.

Inspired by Beethoven's 5th ("dadadaDA") composed in a light rock setting. Recorded 2013 in Lanzarote.
- Slow March
Recorded in 2014 at Callantsoog. Reminiscent of military style funeral march.
- New Year
Recorded 2013-2014 in Berlin. Inspired by the 2013-2014 New Year's celebration I attended at Berlin's Brandenburger Gate.

Tribute to Apollo's moon mission. Recorded in 2013.

Recorded in 2009. Inspired by the shrinking icebergs and diminishing wildlife in the (ant)arctic.
Inspired by a dutch crime series ("Baantjer") staged in Amsterdam. Recorded in 2009.
